Company Summary

AKK has perfected a white whole wheat version of the delicious Kolache dough. The flavors are endless from Bananas Foster to Nutella, from Chicken Fajita to a Pig in a Comforter (a Nathan’s hot dog wrapped in warm, fluffy, buttered dough). Currently there is no bakery or outlet offering Kolaches or combining convenience, affordability, and healthier grab and go options. It is a versatile product that can be positioned as a meal or a snack.

    Kimmy’s career began in a local bagel shop at age sixteen. She has taken a 20 year career in the food business and a passion for baking to launch Aunt Kimmy’s Kitchen. She has been researching the origin and techniques of the Kolache since 2004.Currently the Banquet Director at the exclusive Century Association in NYC, her career has taken her to Carnegie Hall, UBS, and various corporate accounts for Lackmann Culinary Services as F&B Director.

    Born and raised in France, Jean Claude did the traditional culinary education, an apprenticeship when he was fourteen. He worked at such top restaurants as Taillevent, Carre des Feuillants, and Le Notre. He attended the L’Ecole Superieure de Cuisine Francaise where he graduated first in his class. Jean Claude then travelled and worked all over Hong Kong and China, perfecting his Asian cuisine. Then his culinary path brought him to New York
