Alaskan Market

I catch and freeze at sea some of the most valuable fish in the world. Fish stocks are well managed and the market is growing by itself.

Company Summary

I catch and market Frozen-at-Sea wild Alaskan salmon. Freezing is more profitable two way: Frozen product does not spoil therefore boats can be larger staying out until full and use public cold storage if they they don't like the dock price. Fish frozen pre-rigor (within an hour of death) taste and, more importantly, look better than later-frozen dock processor fish and therefore our products has a special, high-end sushi and fine dining market.

I was raised in a fishing community where fishery reports and prices were talked about like baseball stats. I graduated from Northwest University. Afterwards, I ran a 12 man sales team in California before being called back to fishing. All 5 captains I've worked for since fishing full-time have either referred me to a bigger boat for the next season, or asked if I would help expand their operation. I've captained a summer solo and one with crew.
