Company Summary

In addition to creating opportunities for artists to perform we also provide artist development workshops for various art disciplines. We cater to the North West region of Toronto where there is an abundance of talent but a lack of artist development and professional artistic opportunities that are available in the downtown Toronto. Our demographic is urban youth and professionals of the North West region (Jane-Finch, Weston Mount Dennis).

    Leandra is a fourth year Child and Youth Care student at Ryerson University. She completed one year at Windsor University for Visual Arts and works heavily in the community art sector through organizations such as 106 and St. Stephen's Community House in Kensington Market. Leandra believes that programming such as 106 and York is a vital part of providing social equality for youth of marginalized communities.

    Dwayne has completed Multimedia Design and Production Technology at Humber College.He has over six years’ experience in Graphic Design (branding; press kits; album covers; posters, etc); four years in Video Editing (demo reels, music video, promotional video); and two years in Photography. He is also the founder and coordinator of Highclass; a youth arts multi media organization and partner of 106 and York.

    Michael is the head of our logistics and a founder of N.I.S.E.; a multifaceted youth-led social enterprise driven by a community of young people. NISE uses street fashion and design as a creative vehicle to cultivate and stimulate the creative minds of youth in Toronto and neighbourhoods across the GTA. Through N.I.S.E., youth are able to gain leadership opportunities, knowledge, job transferble experience and skills, and a sense of identity.
