Company Summary

Electrical to mechanical energy converters (transducers) are very inefficient. For example, most AC Motors (e.g., air-conditioner motor), DC Motors (e.g., vehicle alternators), and loudspeakers use wire wrapped coils that operate at 300 degrees F. At this temperature, 50% of all energy is waste heat. Interleaved Magnetic Products has a proprietary technology that allows these devices to operate near room temp., greatly improving efficiency.
