Xstart is a Founder Incubator accelerating growth for globally focused startups.

We operate from two locations in central Christchurch, combining the strengths and networks of the University of Canterbury and ChristchurchNZ - the Canterbury region's Economic Development Agency.

Xstart works with startups and established businesses who want to scale, diversify or expand internationally.

We bring together the best and brightest from the local ecosystem as dedicated coaches and advisors, leveraging national and international connections, to deliver a bespoke programme with an active and intense focus on the best outcomes for each business.

Xstart does not take an equity share, but requires a high level of commitment and follow through from companies accepted onto the programme. We pride ourselves on providing a supportive yet challenging environment, which delivers tangible results for our companies.
