Tomooh Incubation Program

If you have an idea and want to transform it into a real business but don’t know how or from where to start, Tomooh Incubation program will help you. Tomooh Program aims to support young entrepreneurial teams in developing their skills, networks, and finances, to be able to start successfully their businesses. The program consists 4 Main components for 1 year:

1. Entrepreneurship Capacity Building Program:
We discuss multiple essential topics needed to start and manage your business, through 10 training sessions, from the entrepreneurial mindset, BMC, value proposition, design thinking, MVP and digital marketing; till managing your startup, fundraising and how to pitch your ideas. Our Entrepreneurial Training invite different well-known speakers and trainers from the ecosystem to share their practical experience with you.

2. Coaching Sessions:
We will support you with 4 Coaching sessions to develop quarterly OKRs for your startup and assess you in monitoring your progress, by using different agile methods depending on the business sectors and stages. In addition, monthly reports will be delivered to build your investment portfolio, and you will benefit from our business clinic services including free extra coaching sessions, investment readiness monitoring and support, free phone coaching, and access to exclusive tools and guidebooks.

3. Networking and Meetup Events:
Different meetups will be organized for one year to engage different stakeholders in the ecosystem with our participants, each meetup will have a guest speaker from the ecosystem. Online video meetups will be organized to engage international speakers exclusively for our participants. Moreover, a public mega-event will be organized to showcase our startups and create an opportunity to network with the public.

4. Mentorship Bootcamp:
In order to make sure that the knowledge you have gained is put into practice, you will have the opportunity to attend a mentorship bootcamp with 7+ years of experience mentors on different businesses and technical topics. The bootcamp will also focus on developing transferable entrepreneurial skills and pitching skills.
5. Financial Awards: Qualified startups will compete in our demo day to be funded with our financial awards (0% equity), up to 30,000 EGP.
6. Working Space:
With your Tomooh access card you will have free access to a working space for 1 year facilitated by High speed internet, Kitchen, 3 Meeting Rooms, 1 Training Room, 1 Shared Working area, 1 PC, 1 Printer, Landline phone, Virtual address service, and a business library full of books, guides, and tools to support your business learning journey.
7. Discounted Services and Perks:
We will support you with exclusive discounted services and perks that suit your needs that include marketing services, legal services, finance and accounting services, and access to different number of the top events in the ecosystem.
8. Media Exposure:
A web blog will be published to share our tools and guides to the public, and to highlight our successful startups with the media and the public.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Participants should be between the age of 21 and 35.
2. Be able to attend at least 80% of the sessions in Cairo. (Accommodation and Transportation will be provided for participants from other governorates).
3. Startups shall have 3-4 active team members. (At least 1 full-time committed member).
4. Startups eligible stages are: Ideas – Prototypes – MVPs.
4. Startups that have Environmental or Social impact will are highly encouraged to apply.
5. Startups operating outside Greater Cairo are encouraged to apply.

Selection Criteria will be based upon:

1. Team: the team members’ backgrounds should be related to the industry.
2. Commitment: at least one member of the team should be a full-timer for the startup.
3. Innovation: One of the key assessment elements of your idea, as we will measure to what extent has your solution succeeded in fulfilling the customers’ needs and solving the problem in an innovative way.
5. Feasibility: The concept of the idea should be applicable (supported by evidence or a description of the technical steps).
6. Financial Sustainability: This element shows how your business is making money or the revenue stream as well as assess the ROI of your idea and its profitability.
7. Scalability: The ability of your product/ service to handle increased market demands.
