Startup Sandbox

Startup Sandbox, Inc. is a UCSC and QB3 affiliated wet-labincubator for innovation and technology commercialization supporting entrepreneurs across a variety of sectors from UCSC, Santa Cruz County and the greater San Francisco Bay area in order to catalyze the growth and development of innovative companies. Startup Sandbox provides a dynamic entrepreneurial business environment to help early stage startups gain access to low-cost laboratory, office and shared space, resources, training, and networking and investment opportunities that will move them onto the fast track to success in the commercialization of their respective technologies.

Startup Sandbox is located in a 13,500-square-foot building at 250 Natural Bridges Drive, Santa Cruz, California and offers a 4,000-square-foot Bio-safty Level 1 (BSL1) and Bio-safty Level 2 (BSL2) commercial grade wet-lab space and 6,700-square-foot dry lab and conference space, in addition to a number of free programs and services.

Startup Sandbox is a non-profit incubator and takes no equity and no intellectual property.
