The acceptance of applications for the "Neruzh 6.0" program has begun.
The Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia announces the launch of accepting applications for the "Neruzh 6.0" Diaspora technology startups program.
The Ministry of High-Tech Industry of Armenia implements the "Neruzh 6.0" state program, which aims to support Armenia's economic progress and the development of the startup ecosystem by promoting the repatriation of professionals from Armenian Diaspora.
As in previous years, this year, up to 40 teams from around the world will be invited to Armenia to participate in the 6-day event in Tsaghkadzor, to get acquainted with the advantages of doing business in Armenia, to receive opportunities for cooperation and exclusive individual mentoring from international accelerator. Within the framework of the event, according to the commission's decision, 3 winners from early-stage startups will receive state support up to 15 million AMD, and 3 winners from growth stage startups will receive up to 30 million AMD. The teams will be given the opportunity to expand the collaborative network, exchange knowledge and experience, and also get the opportunity to interact with invited teams.
Requirements & Eligibility
The competition is open to:
1) Diaspora Armenians or teams, at least half of whose members are Diaspora Armenians, who at the time of application have lived abroad for at least five consecutive years or more and have citizenship or other legal residence status in that country,
2) Repatriates who, at the time of application, have been living abroad for five or more years and have been repatriated within the last six months,
3) Those Diaspora Armenians and teams who, if recognized as winners within the framework of the program, are willing to establish a company and implement startup development activities in Armenia until the completion of the work carried out with the support funds, but not less than 1 year after receiving the state support.
Due to space limitations, only 2 members from each startup will be invited to participate in the program in Tsaghkadzor. If the team has previously participated in the "Neruzh" program, the team members who previously participated in the acceleration program cannot participate in the current acceleration program.
Diaspora Armenians/teams/companies that won in the "Neruzh" program in previous years and received government support cannot participate in the program again.
