Melbourne Health Accelerator

The Melbourne Health Accelerator (MHx) at the Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) is proud to announce that it has secured funding from LaunchVic to continue and expand its activities to bridge the gap between entrepreneurial spirit and drive, and the complex problems within health care under the umbrella of the Victorian Health Network Accelerator (VHNx).

​The MHx program will continue to provide early-stage, health-related start-up companies with the opportunity to access a world-class health system, and empowers clinicians and researchers to pursue an entrepreneurial mindset within a structured collaborative framework.

Start-ups accepted to the program participate in a tailored curriculum and reside within an in-situ workspace at the RMH – a globally leading and unique experience. This supports start-ups to have their innovations validated, tested and potentially accelerated into the health sector.

​With funding from the Victorian Government and the private sector, a strong alumni network, mentoring relationships and partners from across the spectrum, MHx is an established program that provides a variety of opportunities to understand, learn and solve problems from every facet of the health-related business.
