About this Accelerator
The German-Brazilian Chamber of Industry and Commerce, semi-governmental and not for profit association has the goal to promote commerce and cooperation between both countries, as well as the promotion of local business promotion between Brazilian and German companies.
The Chamber has over 1,200 associates and celebrated on 2016 its 100th anniversary. Throughout these years, the Chamber has focused on: (i) environment and sustainability; (ii) foreign trade; and (iii) innovation, organizing over 300 events per year and multiple bilateral projects.
These activities combined make the São Paulo German-Brazilian Chamber one of the most innovative binational chambers in the world, representing many sectors from the Brazilian and German economy.
The Startups Connected initiative was created by the German-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce in 2016, aiming to bridge the gap between associated companies and startups from Brazil and Germany, as well as between the startups ecosystem of both countries.
In its 3rd edition, the initiative concentrates all the German-Brazilian Chamber focused on startups, with the Award and the Startups Connected Acceleration Program among them, as well as the Startups Speed Dating business meeting and our exclusive startups association.
The Startups Connected Acceleration Program is 3 months long. Its goal is to promote the development of participating startups and promote business opportunities between them and the supporting companies and institutions.
