BUITEMS Business Incubation and Entrepreneurship Center (BBIEC)

BBIEC is primarily intended to support BUITEMS Alumni and other students to develop promising start-up firms in order to create jobs, revitalize community, commercialize new technology and strengthen local and national economy.

About this Program

BBIEC aims to launch an innovative programme that addresses identified barriers to enhance the economic participation of women in the work-force. The proposed programme will specifically aim to achieve the following:

-To discover, encourage and incubate women led businesses and provide them with world class curriculum and facilities;

-To connect female entrepreneurs who intend to or who are already in business with channels of finance, information and network;

-To customize the incubation programme and syllabus for female micro entrepreneurs specific to their environment and opportunities (Micro); and

-To encourage female tech graduates to develop businesses with deep tech/ICT (fintech; ed-tech; retail; agri-tech; etc) tools.
