About this Program
Cuatrecasas Acelera is the first European startup program promoted from a law firm with high involvement of partners and lawyers. We wish to detect the most talented European projects and with the greatest potential to help them grow. In Cuatrecasas Acelera, we will work closely with the selected startups.
Cuartecasas Acelera in its fourth edition includes two programs: a Startup Accelerator Program and a Pilot Program, called Fast-Track Program.
The Startup Accelerator Program is a 4-month program for early-startup startups in Legaltech, Insurtech, Fintech, eHealth, Blockchain, etc. Up to six startups will be selected. The Program is based on a highly practical approach combining individual and group sessions with mentors and experts, 2 bootcamps, and a final Demo Day, providing there visibility to investors and extensive press coverage.. We are looking for innovative startups that have at least one functional minimum viable product and a solid work team.
The Fast-Track Program is a 4-month program for scale-up startups that could help is with any of these three challenges: (i) Maximizing collective knowledge (Promoting knowledge transfer between persons and the company to ensure everyone receives the knowledge); (ii) Productivity and efficiency through automation (Using technologies to support routine tasks, making processes for researching and building documents more agile to minimize errors, and managing information); (iii) Blockchain and smartcontracts (Experimenting with the creation of smart contracts applicable to business). Up to two startups will be selected to develop a conceptual pilot or a PoC of their Legaltech solution together with Cuatrecasas. The Fast-Track Program will consider two potential models of relationships with the selected startups: (a) A cocreation model, (b) A client-supplier model.
