Description

Gust, an industry leading global platform for funding startups, is seeking a Product Manager to expand the product to support startup portals for city, state and country governments and organizations. In addition, this person will work with Business Development in establishing a partner product strategy utilizing APIs.

The right candidate is someone that has previously had extensive experience in establishing B2B web products that require customer specific customizations, creation of content driven website development and built these products within a high paced, agile development methodology. Top candidates should have previous experience in rolling out partner product integrations or API strategies. In this role, you will initially be working with outside design and development resources so previously experience working with consultants is a plus.

Core responsibilities include: Working with design and development to create a new portal platform, working with biz dev on product integrations and API rollout strategies.

The Skills You Need To Have:

Product Management Fundamentals

• Define user stories and use cases for projects
• Work with customers to help define product features and functionality
• Lead cross-functional teams to develop a consensus on product requirements taking into consideration business, legal, customer support and technical issues
• Communicate new product developments throughout the organization
• Ability to vision future states of product and creatively brainstorm the possible challenges to these ideas

Process

• Create and manage project plans for the ideation portion of projects
• Manage the internal approvals process for all new features
• Manage ongoing changes to product implementation in response to analysis and market changes
