Company Summary

Primate is a web service that does the work of a traditional headhunter. We source candidates from our growing database and online job boards, and evaluate them through skills testing, a culture fit test, an automated assessment of employment and educational background, and other factors such as salary requirements and location. Our deliverable is a thoroughly vetted shortlist of quality ready-to-interview candidates with video introductions.

    Tatyana heads up strategy and product development. Pre-Primate Tatyana worked as a bank regulator and as a financial consultant in the developing world, getting a chance to practice her Russian skills with bankers in Armenia and Kazakhstan, and her yoga poses with a guru in Nepal. Tatyana loves to see people succeed. Her main reason for devoting her time Primate is providing job candidates with a venue to show who they are and what they can do.

    COO

    Sara heads up sales and marketing, customer support, and candidate selection. Pre-Primate Sara worked in bank regulation, leading teams through the aftermath of the financial crisis. She then took time off to trek in the Himalayas and soul-search in Thailand and Indonesia before joining Primate. Sara is passionate about efficiency, and is convinced that relying on networks to find jobs isn’t a good use of the employers’ or the candidates’ time.

    Founder, Advisor, and Lead Investor

    Dhruv provides hands-on guidance on strategic direction and product design. He is the founder and CEO of True Fabrications, a successful consumer products company, and the originator of the idea that would become Primate. Tired of weeding through endless stacks of resumes and paying outrageous headhunter fees when hiring for his fast growing company, Dhruv decided to build a better solution.

    Business Development Manager

    Michael heads up business development and sales. Pre-Primate Michael was Crate & Barrel's top sales representative in the Pacific Northwest region, servicing high-end design firms, restaurants, and commercial businesses. Michael was a Primate user before joining the company. He actively works to create lasting and meaningful relationships with clients, and is an active advocate for candidates.
