    He is an internationally renown expert in indoor location technologies. He co-chairs the IndoorGML Standard Working Group and chairs the Mobile Location Domain Working Group at the OGC (standards body). He holds a PhD (UK) and an engineering degree (Italy). He has more than 140 international technical publications and he is regularly an invited speaker at events worldwide, also organised by the European Commission, NASA and related to NATO.
