After finding much success he decided to pursue his dream as a touring professional golfer. Richard played on tours in Australia, Asia, Europe, and the United States, for over six years. Starting his first company, Tour Golf Enterprises in 1997, he offered high level golf instruction and travel. As owner, golf instructor, and company pilot, Richard’s entrepreneurial spirits soared. Having now experienced both business and golf, he decided to connect the two concepts. In 1999, Targeted Golf Solutions was created to help corporations leverage the emotion of golf with a unique marketing process to produce tangible and measurable results. Having added other experiences such as car racing and poker, the company became The Targeted Group.
