This means companies that can be funded to cash flow break even purely by angels without requiring venture capital. In practise this means companies whose investment requirements are in the range of $500K to $2M. We selectively invest in companies which will require venture capital to reach break even, however in order for this type of investment to work we need to identify the lilkey venture capital investors up front and reach some kind of understanding with them regarding the conditions under which they would invest in the company following our seed investment.
